I feel like I’ve been neglecting my poor blog recently. I’ve also been neglecting my TBR pile a bit, too… So after a bit of scrolling through the net, I stumbled across this and decided to do it! This tag was created by Rachel from A Perfection Called Books and Dana from Dana Square.
Anyone reading this who fancies a shot, consider yourselves tagged! Though I have a suspicion that the lovely Mai Taylor will enjoy this one, she has a TBR list even longer than mine!
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Any books I actually own, I keep separate. I have a TBR pile of physical books (Currently dumped unceremoniously in front of my book case as I am in the process of changing bookshelves!) and all unread books are kept in a separate folder on my kindle so I can access them easily.
As for books I want to read, but don’t own yet, I keep a running wish list on Amazon as a reminder.
Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
At the moment, it’s probably more ebooks than print. Though the physical TBR pile is doing a pretty good Leaning Tower Of Pisa impression right now…

A Book That’s Been On Your TBR List The Longest
Probably the Lord Of The Rings books. I’ve owned the set since I was in primary school and for one reason or another I just haven’t gotten round to reading them.
A Book You Recently Added To Your TBR
Ted Bundy: The Only Living Witness by Stephen G. Michaud & Hugh Aynesworth.
This is a very recent release, and anyone who knows me will know how much I love A) True Crime stories and B) Serial killers. It’s a seriously unhealthy obsession I have, but I love it. Nothing draws me in faster than the chance to delve into the mind of a twisted serial killer, and Bundy is one of my favourites. It’s totally normal to have a favourite serial killer, right?
A Book In Your TBR Strictly Because of Its Beautiful Cover
I mean, I am guilty of judging by a cover. A lot of books I have read over the years were initially picked up and looked at because the cover caught my eye, and this one is no different: Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James. Off the top of my head I can’t even remember what this was supposed to be about, but the cover caught my eye, I checked the blurb at the time and it appealed, so I bought it!

A Book On Your TBR That You Never Plan on Reading
Hmm… Probably Girl Of Nightmares by Kendare Blake.
I always go with the aim of tackling every book I’ve added to my TBR, but I find with a series of books, I normally read them in batches, because I have poor memory at times and it’s easier to keep track of a story line and characters if I read the first two or three books in a row.
Girl Of Nightmares is a second book in a series – I remember reading book one (Anna Dressed In Blood) a few years ago and enjoying it, but for some reason it hadn’t sparked enough interest in me to grab book two right away, so I can’t see me picking it up any time soon.

An Unpublished Book on Your TBR That You’re Excited For
Only one?! I have a list of preorders on the cards as long as my arm. Though there are two coming out very soon that I cannot wait to get my hands on:
The Guardians Of Evernow by Heidi Catherine – This is book 4 in Heidi’s Kingdoms Of Evernow series, and each book has just been getting better and better, so I have high hopes for book 4!
Wolf’s Bane by Kelley Armstrong – I was a HUGE fan of Kelley’s Women Of The Otherworld series, it was the first Urban Fantasy series I ever read. Wolf’s Bane is the first in a new series using some of the same characters from that first series – Just the next generation! I genuinely squealed in delight when I saw the news about this book and am now very impatiently awaiting it’s release!

A Book On Your TBR That Basically Everyone’s Read But You
A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas!! I feel like the last person on the planet to start reading this series! It’s on my TBR now but I feel very late to the party, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about this series.

A Book On Your TBR That Everyone Recommends To You
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater – Another series I have heard many many good things about but seems to have slipped me by until now!

A Book On Your TBR That You’re Dying To Read
As with the upcoming releases one, I can’t be tied to one single book!!
Let’s go with The Last Widow by Karin Slaughter – I’m a huge Slaughter fan and due to reviewing commitments and poor health, I’ve sadly still not gotten round to devouring her latest 2019 release!
And also Viper by Bex Hogan – It’s been sitting in my TBR looking pretty since earlier this year and I can’t wait to crack it open!

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
Ahh see this is where I am a horrible, disorganised book worm. I remember to update my GoodReads once in a blue moon – And usually only to add reviews and update my ‘Read’ list. So the TBR I have saved in there is not reflective of my true TBR lift in the slightest. But the current GoodReads TBR is coming in at an earth shattering 20 books.
Thanks for the tag! I am working on my answers now but some of them are tough! Don’t worry, you aren’t alone – I haven’t read ACOTAR either, and to make things worse I actually have the whole series in ebook and paperback format! As for The Raven Boys – read it!!! Read it now!!!
